Overview

Football posters made as composite artworks: a player is cut out and placed in a constructed scene.

Approach

Each poster combines a close portrait or a full figure with a setting chosen for the player or the club: a harp on a mountain trail for an Al-Shorta player, a bare brick room under a hanging lamp for a Real Madrid player, a fiery night sky above five Barcelona players. Light and colour are graded so that figure and background read as one image.
